Jamie is a Toronto-born, Los Angeles-based multi-hyphenate
dedicated to helping others move, heal, and thrive. As a Professional WNBA Dancer with the Los Angeles Sparks, they bring energy, passion, and precision to the court, but their talents extend far beyond the dance floor. In addition to their role as a WNBA Dancer, Jamie is also a Teacher, Choreographer, Movement Director, Certified Wellness Coach, and RYT-500 (Registered Yoga Teacher), with a deep belief that movement is medicine. Whether through dance, yoga, or simple stretching, they are committed to empowering individuals to cultivate strength, balance, and well-being.
With a Bachelor of Arts Honors in Sociology from Queen's University, Jamie blends their academic background with a personal passion for the mind-body connection. Through their YouTube channel, they teach Yoga, Fitness, and Recovery classes, helping people from all walks of life discover physical and emotional balance.
Beyond their teaching and coaching, Jamie is a spiritual leader, wellness business owner, and a passionate advocate for Epilepsy Awareness. This cause is particularly close to their heart, as their sibling lives with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy, motivating them to raise awareness and foster understanding about the condition.
When they're not in the studio or coaching clients, Jamie enjoys writing—whether it’s blogging about wellness, movement, and personal growth, or working on their first book. A black belt in Shotokan Karate, alcohol-free for over two years, and a newly proud vegan, they bring a holistic approach to health and well-being. Outside of their wellness work, they enjoy singing, painting, baking, and curling up with a good book.
Fun fact: Jamie’s big three are Virgo Sun, Capricorn Rising, and Sagittarius Moon, which means they blend organization, ambition, and wanderlust into everything they do.
Through their work, Jamie strives to help others tap into the transformative power of movement, guiding them on a journey to heal, grow, and embrace their most vibrant selves.
